Moto G96 5G vs CMF Phone 2 Pro 5G Processor

Motorola Moto G96 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen2 processor that operates on a 2.4 GHz octa-core configuration. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and also supports up to 16GB of virtual memory, which makes it an even-balanced performer for normal use. In contrast, CMF Phone 2 Pro 5G gets a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip that has a slightly faster clock of 2.5 GHz. It introduces 8GB RAM and 8GB virtual memory support. Though Motorola appears to be more memory frugal, CMF takes the lead in pure processing power.

Display and Battery: CMF Phone 2 Pro 5G vs Moto G96 5G

Moto G96 comes with a 6.67-inch pOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, and is covered by Gorilla Glass 5. CMF Phone 2 Pro goes up to 6.77 inches with a flex AMOLED display, supports HDR10+, and comes with an instant touch sampling rate of 1000Hz but with a reduced refresh rate of 120Hz. Battery-wise, Moto G96 is equipped with a marginally larger 5500 mAh cell, whereas CMF has a 5000 mAh cell and also reverse charging capability. Both have 33W quick charging support.

CMF Phone 2 Pro 5G vs Moto G96 5G Camera

Moto G96 has a dual rear camera configuration  50MP primary sensor and an 8MP OIS lens, coupled with a 32MP front snapper. CMF Phone 2 Pro 5G takes it up a notch with a triple rear configuration, 50MP + 50MP + 8MP, and a 16MP front camera. Motorola offers an improved resolution selfie cam and OIS, whereas CMF offers more flexibility at the rear with an additional lens.

Price of the Device

Moto G96 5G is coming at ₹17,999 and going on sale on Flipkart from 16th July. To compare, CMF Phone 2 Pro 5G with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage currently retails at ₹20,900 on Amazon. The nearly ₹3,000 price difference may be important for those on a budget.

Bank Offers

Moto G96 purchasers can avail themselves of free EMI options from ₹921 a month and Flipkart launch offers for a limited period. CMF Phone 2 Pro does not specify any bank offers, but price trend indicates an increase of ₹439 in the previous month, which may indicate lower discounts.

Conclusion

If your priorities are a bit improved front camera, larger battery, and a more buttery refresh rate, Moto G96 is more value-for-money at a lower cost. But if you care about a sharper display, more rear camera versatility, and quicker touch reaction, CMF Phone 2 Pro might be a smarter long-term choice.
