Moto G56 5G: Motorola seems to be gearing up to release its new Moto G56 5G smartphone. Although the brand hasn’t confirmed anything as of yet, a recent leak has exposed nearly all about the phone. The leak displays the phone’s entire design and full spec list, suggesting a significant upgrade from the Moto G55. The phone may soon come to global markets with improved features in terms of display, performance, camera, and build quality.

Moto G56 5G Display and Design

As per the leaked information posted by tipster Evan Blass, the G56 5G will have a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels. It is believed to come equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000-nit peak brightness, and 391ppi pixel density. The screen can be expected to feature Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone also boasts a hole-punch on the front and dual cameras at the back. Colour choices may be pantone black oyster, pantone gray mist, pantone dazzling blue, and pantone dill.

Performance and Software

The G56 5G is likely to operate with the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC, an upgrade from the Dimensity 7025 used in the Moto G55. It is expected to come with Android 15 pre-installed. The phone could provide up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Storage could be extended up to 2TB via a microSD card by users. Although the 4GB RAM model might get one major Android update and three years of security updates, the 8GB model might get two major Android updates and four years of security support.

Camera Configuration

The new phone will reportedly come with a dual rear camera setup. It may have a 50-megapixel primary sensor using Sony’s Lytia LYT-600 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For video calls and selfies, the Moto G56 5G may have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. These are upgrades indicating a significant improvement in photography over its predecessor.

Moto G56 5G Battery and Charging

The leak indicates the Moto G56 5G will be powered by a huge 5,200mAh battery. It could come with 33W wired fast charging support, like the Moto G55. Even though the battery capacity is marginally bigger, the charging speed seems to remain the same.

Connectivity and Durability

On the connectivity side, the Moto G56 5G is reported to have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It may support stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones. On the endurance side, the phone is tipped to support IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD-810H-grade protection.

Expected Price of Moto G56 5G

As per previous leaks, the Moto G56 5G could be priced at EUR 250 (approximately Rs. 23,700) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The exact launch date is still under wraps, but the leaked specifications strongly suggest an imminent release.
