LG xboom Buds: Balanced Audio with Top-of-the-Line Features

The default LG xboom Buds have an in-ear shape with a hook for a good fit and are ideal for exercising and everyday use. They are fitted with graphene drivers to deliver better sound and a triple-microphone setup for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). There is also support for LE Audio Auracast that facilitates shared audio streams in public spaces and multi-device pairing.

Battery life is also a showstopper, since the xboom Buds pack a maximum of 30 hours of combined playback (7.5 hours just on the earbuds), dropping to 24 hours with ANC switched on. The earbuds also sport an IPX4 rating for water and dust resistance, ensuring they are reliable companions for users who lead an active lifestyle.

LG xboom Buds Plus: Sound and Hygiene Features Upgraded

The high-end choice in the series is the LG xboom Buds Plus, which adds sound quality with an adaptive EQ system that continuously adjusts audio in real time according to ear fit. The same triple-mic configuration is back again, delivering better call clarity and more robust noise cancellation.

One of the highlights is the addition of UVnano technology, which decreases bacteria in ear tips and speaker mesh for enhanced hygiene. The Buds Plus also come equipped with a Plug & Wireless mode, making them usable as a Bluetooth transmitter when paired with non-Bluetooth products like airplane entertainment systems. This makes them extremely versatile, particularly for heavy travelers.

LG xboom Buds Lite: Endurance and Value

For cost-conscious consumers, LG has launched the xb oom Buds Lite. They emphasize extended battery life, with up to 35 hours of playback time in the case and 11.5 hours on the earbuds. Their ergonomic design and lightweight nature ensure comfortable use even for long periods of time.

Even as the cheapest model in the lineup, Buds Lite retain graphene drivers for good sound quality. With the Xboom Buds companion app (available for Android, iOS, and Windows), users are able to tap into four EQ presets, customize noise cancellation, and optimize fit for their perfect listening experience.

Pricing and Availability: Global Rollout Underway

The new xboom Buds series is already rolling into stores in several international markets. The xb oom Buds Lite is selling for 99,000 KRW (approximately $71), with the xb oom Buds selling at 100,000 KRW (approximately $72). The xb oom Buds Plus, which is the high-end variant, is selling at 199,000 KRW (approximately $143). With such varied pricing, LG hopes to appeal to as broad an audience as possible, from low-budget users to audiophiles seeking high-end quality.
