iQOO Neo 10 vs Poco F7: The iQOO Neo 10 and Poco F7 are mid-range smartphones the price under ₹35,000. The iQOO Neo 10 has a better selfie camera, while the Poco F7 has a bigger battery, more RAM, and comparable camera features. Both have comparable storage options and are powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
With the introduction of several high-quality smartphones, the mid-range smartphone market is currently at a boiling point. The Poco F7 and the iQOO Neo 10 are two of the most notable products, as they are vying for essentially the same position. However, which of these should you take into account if you are looking to buy a new phone? Let us examine this article in more detail.
iQOO Neo 10 vs. Poco F7: Display
The Poco F7 has a 6.83-inch, 1.5K OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a fast touch sampling rate of 2560 Hz. With a maximum brightness of 3200 nits, the phone is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
One advantage of the Poco F7 is that it has an IP68 and IP69 rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes and absorb hot or cold jet sprays from multiple angles.
The iQOO Neo 10 has a slightly smaller 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 5,500 nits. The Neo 10 has an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, which means it can withstand splashes and mild rains but is not totally waterproof.
Processor:
Both the Poco F7 and the iQOO Neo 10 use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processors with Adreno 825 GPUs, making them power-efficient handsets. Also, they share the same UFS 4.1 storage options and LPDDR5x RAM.
One thing to keep in mind is that the base model of the iQOO has less RAM (8GB) than the Poco F7 (12GB). The F7 receives UFS 4.1 on both models, but the Neo 10 only supports UFS 4.1 on the 256GB and 512GB versions.’
Camera:
One major disclaimer regarding the camera comparison is that I have not had a chance to physically try on the Poco F7 yet, so I cannot provide readers with a neutral opinion of the mid-range phone’s photography capability. Having said that, we could tell the two phones based on the camera features simply.
The Poco F7 has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS and EIS. It has a 20MP camera on the front. The front camera can record at up to 1080p at 60 frames per second, while the back camera can shoot at up to 4K 60 frames per second.
The same Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens is also included with the iQOO Neo 10. On the front, there is a 32MP camera with a better quality that can record 4K at 60 frames per second.
Software:
Both of these phones are not necessarily designed for you if you prefer a clean software experience. Be prepared for a ton of bloatware and advertising throughout the user interface if you purchase any of these gadgets.
With four years of OS upgrades and six years of security fixes promised, Poco runs HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15.
Funtouch OS 15 powers the iQOO Neo 10, which promises three years of OS updates and four years of security fixes.
Battery
A 7,550 mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging is included with the Poco F7. A 7,000mAh battery and the same 90W wired fast charging come with the iQOO Neo 10. Wireless charging is not supported by either phone, but because to their large batteries, one should be able to use them for at least a day without experiencing any significant software problems.
Price
The 8GB RAM/128GB storage model of the iQOO Neo 10 prices ₹31,999, while the top-end 16GB RAM/512GB storage model prices ₹40,999.
In contrast, the Poco F7 is available in just two models, priced ₹31,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB model and ₹33,999 for the 12GB RAM/512GB model.
Which phone around ₹35,000 makes the most sense?
Offering many of the same features as the iQOO Neo 10 at a cheaper cost, such as the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 engine, the 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera, UFS 4.1 storage, and LPDDR5x RAM, the Poco F7 presents itself as a good choice in the sub-35,000 pricing range. Also, a slightly larger 7,550mAh battery with the same 90W fast charging capacity is provided.
