iQOO is once again preparing to create a stir in the market. This time the brand has started working on its new flagship series iQOO 15 and its discussions are in full swing. The special thing is that this time there is no Pro model in the iQOO 15 series. Yes, earlier while the standard and Pro variants of the iQOO 10 to 12 series were launched, last year the company launched only iQOO 13 in the market.
Now the news is that this year the iQOO 15 series will come in two variants – one will be the standard model and the other will be a powerful and feature-packed ‘Ultra’ version. It is believed that this Ultra version will be the company’s most high-end and premium smartphone till date.
iQOO 15 Ultra camera and new display technology
Popular tech tipster Digital Chat Station has informed that the iQOO 15 Ultra model will get a 6.85-inch Samsung flat display with 2K resolution, in which the company is going to use LIPO technology. This is the same display which can also be seen in the standard model. But the Ultra model will have some extra bangs, which will make it special.
It is being told that in iQOO 15 Ultra, the company is testing a new 50-megapixel periscope lens, due to which the zoom quality and photo clarity are going to be great. Along with this, wireless charging facility can also be provided in it, which will make charging even easier.
Good news for gamers
iQOO 15 Ultra will also be special for those who do heavy gaming on mobile. Because in this phone, the company can provide shoulder buttons and active cooling fan, which will make the gaming experience very smooth and fun. Both these things will not be in the standard model, that is, the Ultra model will be the best option for gamers.
Powerful processor and build quality
As far as performance is concerned, both the models – iQOO 15 and iQOO 15 Ultra – will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (or what has been called Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (Elite Edition) in reports) processor. Also, the company is going to use its own iQOO display chip, which will improve graphics and display performance.
Apart from this, both the smartphones will get metal frame, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and water and dust resistant body with IP68/69 rating. That is, these phones will not be behind anyone in terms of strength.
Can get a 7000mAh powerhouse
Now talking about the battery, iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to get a battery which has not been found in any iQOO phone till date. If reports are to be believed, the Ultra version can have a battery of more than 7,000mAh, which will support 100W fast charging. That is, after charging once, you will get the freedom to play games or watch videos for hours.
May be launched soon
The company has not yet given any official information about the launch date of the iQOO 15 series, but there is a discussion in the tech corridors that it can be introduced very soon i.e. in the second half of 2025. iQOO fans are eagerly waiting for this series as it will get everything that a premium flagship phone should have – powerful camera, superfast performance, special features for gaming and a great display.
So if you are looking to buy a phone that is strong on every front – performance, camera, display and gaming – then the iQOO 15 Ultra should definitely be on your list.
