Google Pixel 10: Google is looking set to rock the smartphone world once more as rumors surrounding its next Pixel 10 have leaked prematurely. A recent shoot for a commercial has provided the first unofficial glimpse of what the technology giant is cooking up. Although not announced, the premature marketing teasers and design hints are indicating a significant emphasis on AI advancement and an evolutionary design philosophy with this next-generation flagship.

Pixel 10 Build and Design

Based on leaked behind-the-scenes photos of a pro shoot, the Pixel 10 design appears to highly resemble the Pixel 9 Pro. The leaked model features a triple-camera setup, indicating that Google may make this feature a standard option across its entire Pixel 10 family, and not just for the Pro version. The design also retains the typical button layout with power button and volume rocker lined up on the side. The model of the shoot comes in the Obsidian black finish, a Pixel classic colour, with other anticipated variations being Porcelain, Peony, and Wintergreen.

Launch Timeline and Tagline

While Google hasn’t gone official with anything as yet, the marketing campaign is already in full swing, suggesting an August 2025 release. This fits with the company’s usual timeline, of course, with the Pixel 9 coming out at a similar time last year. The tagline of the campaign, “Ask more of your phone,” directly suggests upgraded AI functions that are likely to be deeply integrated into the Pixel 10 experience.

AI Features in Focus

A lot of the Pixel 10 hype is based on its adoption of AI features unveiled at Google I/O 2025. They include “Video Generative ML,” enabling users to make smart video edits directly within Google Photos, and “Speak-to-Tweak,” a voice control to tweak images with voice commands. Another highlight is “Sketch-to-Image,” which brings user sketches into vivid images — a clear reference to the emerging trend of artistic AI.

Hardware Expectations

Previous rumors indicate that the Pixel 10 might arrive with the new Tensor G5 processor. This homegrown processor is rumored to be getting tested together with Android 15, but the phone is reportedly going to be shipped with Android 16 at launch. The base model should have 12GB RAM, and it is possible that the Pixel 10 Pro would have 16GB RAM, much like last year’s Pro model.

Camera

Though not confirmed, rumour suggests that hinting points towards a high-end triple-camera setup on the Pixel 10. This could be featuring a 64MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens, with possible 50x digital zoom support. These huge specs, while still speculative, show that Google wants to match its peers at the high end of smartphone photography.
