iQOO Neo 10: The mid-tier smartphone market is going through a rough patch, but iQOO isn’t just doing that—it’s moving on to its own beat. The iQOO Neo 10 is not just for the gamer following, but for anyone who wants flagship-level performance, stylish design, and long battery life. Let me tell you why I liked it based on my past few weeks of usage.
Design and Build – When Class Builds Confidence
The Neo 10 isn’t a phone that screams with its looks, but it gracefully commands attention. I used the Titanium Chrome variant and it feels as premium as some of OnePlus’ high-end models—but a little heftier, weighing in at 199 grams. The matte finish on the back controls fingerprints, and the overall grip is great. It’s heavy, even if you look at it late, but the 7000mAh battery pack is your excuse.
Display – Shines in the light, is comfortable at night
The phone’s 6.78‑inch AMOLED screen (1.5K resolution) really exceeded expectations. Watched a movie on Amazon Prime in HDR and the screen delivered camera-like colours and brightness—the peak brightness of 5500 nits brings a lot of life to the sun even outdoors. The 144Hz refresh rate makes fluctuating graphics, Instagram stories, everything look smooth. And the 4320Hz PWM dimming doesn’t cause any strain on the eyes while reading at night. The Schott Xensation Up glass kept the phone safe even after a fall.
Performance – Power of Snapdragon 8s Gen 4
The biggest credit for the all-round performance of the phone goes to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The 3.21GHz clock speed, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage were in my hands—and it gave me a lot of fun in 4K video editing, multitasking, gaming without any hesitation. BGMI, Call of Duty, Chrome, Instagram, WhatsApp—whatever I played, the phone did not miss it.
The 7K Ultra VC cooling system and Supercomputing Q1 chip worked wonders—the phone did not heat up even after long gaming sessions and watching HDR videos. There was no frame drop at all while playing IBGMI at 144fps.
Camera – The superior touch of camera in a gaming phone
50MP Sony portrait camera, 8MP ultra wide, and 32MP selfie camera—much better than a relatively mid-range phone. Background bokeh came out well in portraits, and colors were always natural—whites looked really white, clouds looked open textured, reds looked like flying.
Night mode was also great at night—it captured light details well, noise was very low. The ultra-wide was a little out of focus but it made up for it in normal photos. The selfie camera didn’t over-process dramatically either—skin didn’t look starchy, colours were natural.
Video recording also bounced back well—1080p produced vibrant footage, and there was no lag when using picture-in-picture mode, screen recording, and the camera simultaneously while gaming.
Battery and charging – sure to stay alive
The 7000mAh battery is great—4K videos, map navigation, challenging gaming, social media browsing—by the end of the day, the battery was delivering around 8–10 hours of screen-on time. The 120W FlashCharge works just fine—0 to 100% charging was done in 30 minutes, and 0 to 70% in just 24 minutes. One overnight charge and two days of stamina? Easy!
Final Verdict – Why is Neo 10 worth the price?
The iQOO Neo 10 is a phone that can win over not just gamers, but users looking for power, stamina and performance. The camera is great, the screen is top-notch, the performance is feature-rich and the fast charging speed makes it aggressive.
It may not be the photography king, and may fall short in areas like IP68, but such features are hard to see in any mid-tier phone. If you use the basics but don’t compromise on battery and performance, the Neo 10 is worth your money.
