Now it is finally going to be available for Indian users as well.
India Launch
Honor has confirmed that the official India launch of Honor X9c 5G will be on 7 July. But for buyers, this phone will be available for purchase from Amazon starting July 12. This means that if you are planning to buy this phone, then you will have to wait a bit. This phone is only available through Amazon, and the company has confirmed two stylish colour options – Jade Cyan and Titanium Black. The design of both these colours looks quite premium and gives a different classy touch to the look of the phone. The phone will be launched in India in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variants, which is a quite balanced combo as per today’s time.
Power & Display
This phone has been given Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset for performance, which is a powerful mid-range processor from Qualcomm. This processor is considered perfect for multitasking, gaming and daily usage. The phone will come out of the box with Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0, which will have a new feature called Magic Portal – through this you will be able to do smart and fast interaction between apps, like drag-and-drop data or cross-app sharing.
Talking about the display, Honor X9c 5G will get a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen, whose resolution will be 1.5K. The refresh rate of the screen will be 120Hz which is best for smooth scrolling and gaming. Apart from this, the display also has 3840Hz PWM dimming which makes it more comfortable for your eyes. Honor has also ensured that the screen is certified by TÜV Rheinland – this means, flicker-free viewing and low blue light have been taken care of.
Camera Setup
Honor X9c 5G has also become a good option for photography lovers. It has a 108-megapixel primary rear camera sensor, which comes with f/1.7 aperture. The camera has both OIS (optical image stabilization) and EIS (electronic image stabilization) features, which will make your photos and videos blur-free and more stable. 3x lossless zoom has also been given, so that you can capture even the subjects at the door with clarity. AI-based features like AI Motion Sensing and AI Erase have also been given in the camera, which will take your photography experience to another level.
Design & Build
Honor has worked hard in terms of design. The thickness of the phone has been kept at just 7.98mm and its weight is 189 grams, which feels quite lightweight even though it is a big battery phone. Honor X9c 5G comes with a solid build quality. It has SGS drop resistance certification, which tells that the phone is capable of avoiding accidental drops. The phone also comes with IP65M-rated water and dust resistance, which means normal water splashes and dust won’t cause any problem to the phone. Honor has made this phone ready for daily rough usage.
Battery Backup
The most special thing is that Honor has used a 6600mAh silicon-carbon battery in this phone, which is more power efficient and compact than a typical lithium battery. Along with this battery, you get 66W fast wired charging support, which will charge the phone up to a considerable length in just a few minutes. If you are a heavy user – like gaming, video watching, or multitasking – then this battery will easily last you a full day without worrying about frequent charging.
What to say after all
Overall, the Honor X9c 5G has come as a stylish and powerful mid-range smartphone. In this you get a large curved AMOLED display, powerful 108MP camera, latest Snapdragon processor, AI features and a large battery – that too with a classy design. The price of the phone has not been officially revealed yet, but according to the features, it seems that it will come in the mid-premium range. For those who are looking for a modern and reliable phone, the Honor X9c 5G can be a solid option. The wait for 7 July will definitely be worth it.
