Honor’s new smartphones are all about the cameras and the company has just launched the Magic7 RSR, Magic7 Pro, and Honor 200. All of these smartphones offer some pretty great camera features, but which one is the best? Let’s compare them.
Honor Magic7 RSR
The Honor Magic7 RSR is designed for photography enthusiasts. It has a 50MP main sensor that delivers amazing photos with sharp details and natural colors. The main sensor also excels in low-light photography, so you can capture clear and bright photos even in the dark.
The 50MP ultra-wide lens lets you capture landscapes and group photos with a lot of detail, and the periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom lets you zoom in on faraway subjects without losing clarity.
8K video recording and advanced stabilization makes it perfect for content creators The 32MP front camera takes high-quality selfies with great colors and sharpness.
Honor Magic7 Pro
The main camera of the Honor Magic7 Pro is also a 50MP one (similar to the RSR model) and pictures are detailed with good color and contrast. In night photos the RSR model has a slight advantage with better processing
The 50MP ultra-wide lens is very sharp and distortion free, while the 3x optical zoom telephoto lens is okay but nowhere near the RSR’s 5x.
For video, there’s 4K recording with decent stabilization, which should be more than enough for most people, and the 32MP front camera offers crisp selfies and stable video calls.
Honor 200
The Honor 200 is the most affordable device in the list, but it still has a powerful camera setup. It comes with a 50MP main sensor, which is great for taking sharp and colorful photos. Its night mode isn’t as good as the Magic7 series, though.
The ultra-wide camera is 12MP, so it captures less detail than the 50MP ultra-wide sensors on the Magic7 models The 2x zoom telephoto lens is useful for basic zoom shots but is not as powerful as the Magic7 RSR or Pro
Video recording is limited to 4K resolution which is still a good option but not up to the Magic7 RSR’s 8K The 32MP front camera offers great selfies and clear video calls
