Honor Magic V5: Honora Chinese smartphone company is about launching the Magic V5. Some teasers given by the company have provided information regarding the specifications and design of this smartphone. A triple back camera unit is possible with this foldable smartphone. It may be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

The 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) capabilities will be featured in the Magic V5, according to a teaser posted on Weibo, a microblogging site in China. As to the makers, this foldable smartphone’s periscope telephoto camera has the highest resolution. A 50-megapixel telephoto camera was featured in Honor’s Magic V3, which launched last year.

The Magic V5 is set for launch in China on July 2. It might have three back cameras. It could have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Honor’s Luban shock-absorbing hinge will be featured on this smartphone. It is said that this hinge can withstand drops. When folded, the Magic V5 will have a thickness of 8.8 mm. But the company hasn’t revealed its weight. The RAM and storage capacities of this smartphone will be 12 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB, and 16 GB + 1TB. There will be four color options for it. Magic 9.0, which is based on Android 15, can run it. Over the past few years, sales of foldable smartphones have skyrocketed. Samsung, a South Korean smartphone maker, leads this market.

Li Kun, an Honor official, recently claimed that the Magic V5 will be smaller. This smartphone might have an 8-inch 2K internal screen and a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED cover screen. A 6,100 mAh battery will power the Magic V5. The 5,150 mAh battery of Honor’s Magic V3 supported 50 W wireless and 66 W wired charging. The Magic V5 can have an 8-inch 2K inner panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED cover screen.
