COROS APEX 4: Coros officially launched its new Apex 4 outdoor smartwatch series in China, targeting adventure lovers and fitness enthusiasts. The smartwatch is available in two styles: 42mm and 46mm, with prices of 2,699 yuan and 2,969 yuan, respectively. In markets outside China, the watches cost $429 and $479. Equipped with a high-end titanium build, robust tracking features, and impressive battery life, the Apex 4 is expected to compete against some of the best outdoor wearables available in the market, such as Garmin and Suunto.

The Coros Apex 4 boasts a scratch- and impact-resistant Grade 5 titanium alloy bezel and sapphire crystal glass. The screen utilizes a third-generation Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) panel, which is excellent for outdoor legibility under harsh sunlight exposure. The 42mm variant has a 1.2-inch screen with a resolution of 240×240 and weighs 56 grams with a silicone band. The 46mm model, on the other hand, has a slightly bigger 1.3-inch screen with 260×260 resolution, weighing 64 grams.

Both models charge in less than two hours and feature Bluetooth connectivity for data syncing and music playing. The watch also provides 32GB of internal memory, which can be utilized for downloads of maps, music, and workout records.

The Coros Apex 4 has more than 20 activity modes, such as trail running, cycling, swimming, and mountaineering. It also features EvoLab performance analysis, 3D climbing capture, altitude acclimatization tracking, and checkpoint indication. Users can even remotely control GoPro, DJI, and Insta360 cameras using the watch, boosting convenience when filming outdoors.
