1. Download the Umang app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

4. Input your UAN, Aadhaar number, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and request an OTP.
5. After entering the OTP, you will be prompted to install the Aadhaar Face RD app.
6. Proceed to the “scan face” screen to capture your face. A successful scan is indicated by a green circle in the app.
7. Review your details displayed on the app (name, date of birth, etc.) and click ‘Submit.’
8. Your UAN will be activated, and a temporary password will be sent to your mobile via SMS.
9. To verify the status, select the “UAN allotment and activation” option within “UAN Services Through Face Auth” on the Umang app.
10. Input your UAN number, Aadhaar number, mobile number, and provide consent before clicking on “Send OTP.”
11. Upon successful completion, the app will display the message: “The UAN entered is already activated.”
