Uttarakhand Polytechnic Counselling 2025 : The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education has launched the counselling scheme for JEEP 2025. This counselling scheme is meant for taking admissions in the diploma courses in government or private polytechnic institutes across the state of Uttarakhand. Round 1 registration opened on June 25, 2025, and the first result of seat allotment was released on July 2, 2025.
Courses Offered and Streams
The counseling of JEEP 2025 is providing opportunities to candidates for admission into different streams and lateral entry in engineering, pharmacy, textile design, fashion design. This opened from June 25 to June 28, 2025, for Round 1, where candidates were required to register themselves through the portal admissions.ubterjeep.co.in, select their preferred choices of college and course, and submit the necessary documents.
Seat Allotment and Admission Formalities
After the announcement of Round 1 seat allotment, successful candidates will have to report at the institutes during the period from July 3, 2025, to July 11, 2025. During that time, they should verify the candidate’s original documents for admission. Presenting original documents will include the JEEP admit card, scorecard, standard 10-12 mark sheets, caste and domicile certificates, and valid photo ID with two passport-sized photographs, along with the allotment letter.
Round 2 and Other Rounds
The board also activated the second round of counseling, which will be available for choice filling between July 17 and 19, 2025. Allotment results of the second round will be published on July 23. There will be reporting of the allotted students to their corresponding institutes from July 24 until July 31, 2025. The board may hold additional rounds depending on the availability of seats due to the spot counseling procedure.
Availability of Seats and Useless Counseling Fees
There are no counseling fees for this admission scheme, nor is the registration online. Still, there are many seats vacant in Computer Science & Engineering and other branches across the various polytechnic colleges in Uttarakhand. GRD Polytechnic in Dehradun has around 39 seats vacant for CSE, for instance.
Important Instructions for the Candidates
Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates about any deadline so that they do not miss out on any dates. Reporting at the allotted college within the prescribed time is highly important using the required documents. Otherwise, the allotted seat will be canceled. Round 2 would be a great opportunity for students who want to change their allotments to get better course or college preference.
