UPSC Mains Exam Date 2025: Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has started the 2025 Civil Services Main Examination this year. UPSC Mains Exam 2025 Schedule
The Civil Services Main Examination (UPSC CSE) Schedule released by UPSC will be conducted in two shifts between 22 August to 31 August. The exam will run from 9 am to 12 noon in the morning shift, while the afternoon session will start at 2:30 pm and will run till 5:30 pm.
Due to this, the candidates have to reach the centre by 8:30 am for the morning shift and by 2 pm for the afternoon shift, as entry will not be allowed after the gate is closed. Candidates are advised to leave home on time, and there will be trouble if they reach the examination centre late.

Let us tell you that the candidates who have passed the preliminary examination will now appear in the main examination. Which consists of two parts – a written test and an interview. The UPSC preliminary examination result has been released earlier, in which 14,161 candidates have passed this year and are eligible to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination. This exam is the written stage of the selection process. After the main exam, there will be a personality test/interview round for the qualified candidates.
