UP Board Exam 2026: Big news is coming for students appearing for the UP Board Class 10th and 12th board exams. The board organised a special session on YouTube for students appearing for the board exams today,February 14th. In this session,the board’s Additional Secretary,Parthasarathi Sen Sharma,explained the arrangements put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams.

This online session explained the correct way to write answers for the 2026 Class 10th and 12th board exams. The board stated that not only studying,but also the way you present your answers,plays a crucial role in achieving good marks. The exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 are scheduled to begin on February 18,2026. The board has already made preparations for the 10th and 12th exams.

How to Write Better Answers?
The UP Board has advised students to write their answers neatly and systematically.
Begin with a clear heading.
Before writing long paragraphs,answer in a point-wise manner.
Be sure to draw diagrams or charts where necessary.
Be sure to underline important words.
Be sure to solve model papers and previous year question papers.
Practice time management by taking a three-hour mock test at home.

The Board has advised students not to overstress about the exam. If experiencing any mental distress,they should speak to their parents and teachers. Counselling helplines can also be sought if needed. The Additional Secretary informed students during the session that if a student loses their admit card,they will be allowed to appear for the exam after obtaining an undertaking from the student. However,the student must submit a duplicate admit card from their school.

How should students prepare for the exam?

• Review important information and important formulas.

• Be sure to solve model papers from previous years’ exams.

• Practice answering questions within the allotted time.
• Avoid studying new subjects a few days before the exam.

• They should maintain a proper sleep routine and eat nutritious food.
