SSC CHSL Result 2025 Declared: The Staff Selection Commission has released the results of the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam today, February 28th. Candidates who appeared for the exam, held between November 12th and 30th, 2025, can now check their results on the official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates have been eagerly awaiting their results. The CHSL Tier 1 result has now been released on the official website, ssc.gov.in.

Candidates will need to use their registration number and password to check their results. The list of candidates who will now be eligible to appear for the next stage, the Tier 2 exam, has also been released. The Tier 1 exam was conducted in computer-based mode between November 12th and 30th, 2025.

What is normalisation?

When the exam is conducted across multiple shifts, the paper for each shift is different. Some papers may be slightly easier, while others may be slightly more difficult. To ensure that this does not disadvantage any student, the Commission adopts a specific formula. This process is called normalisation. Please note that the SSC has prepared the merit list by equalising the marks of all candidates according to pre-determined rules.

What were the minimum passing marks?
– 30 per cent marks were required for the general category.
– 25 per cent marks for the OBC and EWS categories.
– At least 20 per cent marks for SC, ST, and other categories.

Cut-off for LDC and JSA posts
– The cut-off for the general category was 144.25858.
– The OBC category was 143.83055.
– The EWS category was 141.42492.
– The SC category was 125.40250.

– ST’s was 115.25399.

DEO Science Stream Cut-Off
– The cut-off for the general category was 169.54438.
– OBC was 169.49507.
– SC was 157.72055.
– ST’s was 152.78518.
