SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025: Recruitment will be done for 3131 posts
SSC is recruiting for a total of 3131 posts under CHSL Recruitment 2025, which includes Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO) Grade-A and clerical posts of various departments of the Central Government.
However, this time the vacancies have come less as compared to last year. In SSC CHSL 2024, recruitment was done for a total of 3437 posts, and at that time, more than 34 lakh candidates had applied. This time also lakhs of candidates have applied.
SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025: Exam Dates
Tier I Exam: Will be held from 8 September 2025 to 18 September 2025.
Tier II Exam: Will be held in February-March 2026 for the candidates who are successful in Tier I.

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025: How to Download Admit Card?
Candidates can easily download the SSC CHSL Admit Card 2025 by following the steps given below:
- First of all, visit the official website ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘Admit Card’ section available on the homepage.
- Now select your respective SSC region from the list.
- Enter the requested information like registration ID/roll number and date of birth/password.
- On clicking submit, your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download it and keep it safe by taking a printout for the future.

Exam Pattern
SSC CHSL Tier I exam will be conducted in online mode and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The paper will be divided into four parts:
- English Language (Basic Knowledge) – 25 questions
- General Intelligence – 25 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) – 25 questions
- General Awareness – 25 questions
There will be 100 questions in the exam, carrying 200 marks. Candidates will get 60 minutes for the exam. Note that a negative marking of 0.50 marks will be applicable for every wrong answer.
