How the JEE Main result is prepared
The JEE Main results are declared in percentile scores, which show candidates’ performance rather than using basic scores. The NTA uses the normalisation process to maintain fairness during multiple shift examinations. The method adjusts scores to ensure that candidates face equal testing conditions despite variations in shift difficulty.
The result will show:
• Subject-wise percentile
• Total percentile score
• All India Rank for qualified candidates
• Eligibility status for JEE Advanced
