JEE Main 2026 Update – Download Session 1 Provisional Key at jeemain.nta.nic.in

JEE Main 2026 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 examination between January 21 and 29. Candidates who appeared for this exam are now eagerly awaiting the JEE Main 2026 Answer Key. After the exam, the National Testing Agency will make the provisional answer key and response sheet available for download today, February 4th. Candidates can check and download the answer key on the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The objection window will close on February 5, 2026. The response sheet will also be released along with the answer key. A fee of Rs. 200 will be charged for each objection raised against an answer.

When was the JEE Main Session 1 exam held?

The JEE Main Session 1 exam was conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026. Paper 1 was conducted in two shifts during the first four days – the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 2 was conducted in a single shift on the last day, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.

Step 2: Click the link to the answer key in the latest news section.
Step 3: Now, enter the required details (application number, date of birth) and submit them.
Step 4: The answer key will open on the screen.
Step 5: Now download the answer key and take a printout for future use.

Result will be released on February 12th
According to the NTA’s brochure, the results will be announced on February 12th. The results will be released based on the final answer key.

Session 2 Exam:
NTA has started the registration process for the JEE Main Session 2 exam. The application process will continue until February 25. Students can fill out the form online within the specified dates. The Session 2 exam will be conducted from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The results will be declared by April 20.
