9 questions dropped from the final answer key
Based on objections received on the JEE Mains provisional answer key, nine questions have been dropped. These questions have been removed from Paper 1, the BE/BTech paper. Subject experts have reviewed all student-submitted challenges. During verification, subject experts found some objections to be valid, and based on those, 9 questions have been removed.

According to NTA rules, if a question is removed, all candidates will be awarded +4 marks for that question, regardless of whether they attempted it. This means that candidates will receive 36 marks for 9 questions. However, in some cases, marks may also be awarded shift-wise in accordance with the official marking policy. Final scores and percentiles will be calculated taking these changes into account.
