CUET UG 2025 Result  : The result of Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate i.e. CUET UG 2025 has been released on 4th July. The moment that lakhs of students were waiting for is now over. But on this occasion, it is also important to understand which subjects got the highest marks last year and which were the subjects in which very few students scored top marks. This information can help the upcoming students a lot in choosing the subject.

If we talk about the result trend of 2024, then Business Studies was the subject in which most of the students scored 200 out of 200 marks. More than 8,000 students reached the top score in this subject. Political Science was also not far behind in this matter. In this, 5,141 students got full marks. This makes it clear that the students of Commerce and Arts stream are preparing well for these subjects and the chances of scoring here are also high.

The performance of English was slightly different. English was the highest scoring subject in 2023, but in 2024 the number of students scoring full marks in it dropped to around 1,683. However, it still remained at number three in the list of top scoring subjects.

Subjects like Psychology, Accountancy, Biology and Biotechnology also saw good scores. More than 1,600 students scored full marks in Psychology, especially in Psychology, while around 1,135 students scored 200 out of 200 in Accountancy. Students from both science and commerce backgrounds showed good grip in these subjects.

However, this was not the case in every subject. The results were completely different in some linguistic and less popular subjects. Only one or two students were able to score full marks in subjects like Assamese, Kannada, Malayalam, Manipuri, Mizo, Kashmiri, Kokani, Russian, Sanskrit, French, German, Spanish and Tibetan. These figures show that either the level of examination in these subjects is difficult or the number of students preparing for them is very less.

Talking about environmental studies, it was a subject in which the maximum score was 170, but despite this only two students got full marks. It is also a matter to think that it is not so easy to score good marks even in subjects considered easy.

The way the subject-wise performance came out in the year 2024, it also gives an understanding that in which subject the competition is more and where one can move forward by taking a slightly different path. While many students score top marks in mainstream subjects, it is possible to get full marks, albeit in less number, in some special and less chosen subjects – provided the preparation is solid.

CUET UG is no longer just an exam, but it has become a means of admission in many central universities. In such a situation, it is important for the students to understand the scoring pattern of previous years and choose their subject on that basis.

This time the exam was held between 13 May and 4 June and about 13.5 lakh students participated in it. In 2024, English was the subject with the highest number of registrations – more than 10 lakh students had registered for it. Chemistry was at second place in which about 7 lakh students had applied.

If we talk about state-wise figures, then the maximum applications came from Uttar Pradesh. In 2024, 3.47 lakh students registered from here and 2.96 lakh students also appeared in the exam. Delhi was at second place where 1.56 lakh students enrolled and 1.37 lakh took the exam.

From all these figures, it can be said that the scoring trend of CUET UG is not just a number, but data that determines the direction of your career. This information can be very useful for the students who are going to appear in this exam in the coming years.
