BPSC 71st Exam Date 2025. Finally, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has made it clear that the 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) has not been cancelled. Recently, news of the cancellation of the exam was going viral on social media, but the commission issued an official notice and rejected these claims outright. The commission has confirmed that the preliminary examination will be held on 13 September 2025 from 12 noon to 2 pm. So that the candidates who have applied for this exam can speed up their preparation. The commission has released the official notice on bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

In fact, after the denial of cancellation of the examination by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), the candidates who applied for it have now breathed a sigh of relief, while according to the commission, the admit card for the examination can be issued soon. BPSC 71st Exam: Admit card will be issued soon
BPSC has also announced that the admit card for the 71st preliminary examination will be issued soon. The admit card will contain information like exam centre address, reporting time. Candidates have been advised to download the admit card on time, as without it, entry into the examination centre will not be allowed.
BPSC 71st Exam: Exam Pattern
The BPSC 71st Prelims exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The question paper will be mainly based on General Studies. It will include information related to Indian history, politics, constitution, geography, economics, science, current affairs and especially Bihar. The special thing is that there will be no negative marking in the exam.
The purpose of this exam is to evaluate the general knowledge, understanding of current affairs and analytical ability of the candidates. However, the marks obtained in the prelims exam will not be included in the final merit list.
BPSC 71st Exam: Stages of recruitment exam
This recruitment exam of BPSC will be completed in three stages—
Prelims: Based on objective questions.
Mains: Written exam, which will have four papers—
General Hindi (qualifying only)
General Studies-I
General Studies-II
One optional subject.
Marks of all subjects except Hindi will be added to the merit.
Interview: In this, the personality, decision-making ability, reasoning and administrative skills of the candidates will be evaluated.
