New Delhi: There is a question in everyone’s mind about whether the central government is going to ban the 500 note after the 2,000 note. This claim is being rapidly disseminated on social media, causing confusion among people. Not only this, the video of the ban on 500 notes by 2026 is also going viral on social media. However, this claim is entirely false.
The government itself has made it clear that the 500 note will not be banned in the market. According to the Government of India, this claim is entirely fake. The news of banning the 500 note is fake..

PIB appealed to the people not to believe such false news nor spread it. PIB has also advised, in a warning tone, to confirm the news from an official source.
