Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Demand for Vande Bharat trains has increased significantly. Passengers can travel long distances in less time with these Vande Bharat trains. Now, passengers are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Sleeper Vande Bharat train. Meanwhile, the government is also introducing chair car Vande Bharat trains on new routes.
Indian Railways is preparing to launch four new Vande Bharat trains. Uttar Pradesh will receive two of these. According to media reports, a senior railway official has confirmed the launch of four new Vande Bharat trains. These Vande Bharat trains will benefit the people of Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi. The new Vande Bharat trains will operate on the KCR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat, Firozpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat, Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat, and Lucknow-Saharanpur routes.
Railways Announces 4 New Chair Car Routes
Details of the KCR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat have also been revealed. According to a notification issued by the Railway Board on Friday, train number 26651 KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Junction Vande Bharat Express will depart Bengaluru at 5:10 am and arrive at Ernakulam Junction at 1:50 pm. The return service, 26652 Ernakulam Junction-KSR Bengaluru, will leave Ernakulam at 2:20 pm and arrive at Bengaluru at 11 pm.
The ministry has directed the Southern Railway and South Western Railway zones to resume service as soon as possible. The notification states, “If required, the initial train may be operated as a special service.”
On the other hand, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, keeping passenger convenience in mind, has also approved plans to build permanent passenger holding areas at 76 major railway stations across the country.
