When will you get the ration for the month of September
According to the order issued by Food Commissioner Bhupendra S Chaudhary, the distribution of free ration in Uttar Pradesh will be between September 10 and 25. During this time, fair price shops will be open from 8 am to 6 pm, although the shops will be closed from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Rules of distribution
Antyodaya card holders
35 kg ration will be available per card, which will contain 14 kg wheat and 21 kg fortified rice.
Eligible household cardholders
5 kg ration will be given per unit, which will include 2 kg wheat and 3 kg fortified rice.
Along with this, Antyodaya cardholders will also be given sugar for July, August, and September.
Those who do not get e-KYC will not get a ration
Despite the campaigns being run continuously by the government, there are still thousands of ration cardholders who have not gotten e-KYC done. The District Supply Department has made it clear that those ration cards whose e-KYC has not been done will not get ration for September. Even though most of the cards in Uttar Pradesh have been verified, some people have still not been able to complete this process. There are about 3.61 crore ration cards in the state, and 14.65 crore people are taking advantage of free ration.
Do e-KYC from home like this
If you are also among those who have not gotten e-KYC done yet, then complete it before September 10. You can do this work from your mobile, sitting at home. For this, you have to download two apps: Mera KYC and AadhaarFaceRD.

Open the Mera KYC app and select UP in the state option.
Turn on the location on your mobile, so that the app can confirm your presence in UP.
Enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number.
Confirm your information with the OTP received on your mobile.
The mobile camera will open, and a circle will appear on the screen. Bring your face to this circle. As soon as the circle turns green, your e-KYC will be completed.
This is a small process, by completing which you can avail a free ration for yourself and your family.
