On Wednesday, the third trading day of the week, the price of silver increased by more than Rs. 12,000 at the opening. Heightened global tensions over the US-Iran conflict have once again prompted investors to buy gold and silver. Gold on COMEX reached $4,613.90 per ounce, compared to $4,603.70 per ounce yesterday morning. On Tuesday, the price of one kilogram of silver on the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India reached Rs. 2,74,310.

On Wednesday, a significant surge was observed in silver prices on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). The futures price of silver with a March 5th expiry increased by Rs. 12,803 in minutes compared to its previous close. The futures price of silver closed at Rs. 2,75,187 per kilogram on the previous trading day, but on Wednesday it reached a new all-time high of Rs. 2,87,990.
Silver becomes Rs. 52,000 more expensive
In just 10 trading days, the price of 1 kg of silver has increased by Rs. 52,117. On January 1st, the first day of the year, the futures price of silver was Rs. 2,35,873 per kilogram, which reached Rs. 2,87,990 in early trading on Wednesday. In just three trading days this week, it has risen by Rs. 19,020 per kilogram.
