Silver Rate Today: Silver prices saw a slight decline on the day of Govardhan Puja. On October 22nd, the entire country is celebrating the festivals of Govardhan Puja, Balipradipada, and Lakshmi Puja. However, gold and silver prices remain high. Changes in gold and silver prices are observed on a daily basis. Gold rates are fluctuating rapidly. In the past week, silver prices have fallen by up to ₹27,000. On October 22nd, silver prices fell by ₹2,000.

Demand for silver is increasing rapidly worldwide. Especially on the occasion of Dhanteras, people have purchased silver coins in large quantities. Industrial use accounts for approximately 60 to 70 per cent of total silver demand. On October 22nd, silver prices in Delhi traded at ₹1,62,000 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the cost of one kilogram of silver in Chennai remained at ₹1,80,000. There has been a difference of about ₹18,000 in the price of silver in both Delhi and Chennai. The price of gold fell by ₹2,000 on the day of Govardhan.
