Silver Price Today, April 27: Much like gold, silver prices have also been witnessing continuous fluctuations. The bullion market remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays; consequently, Friday’s rates remained applicable. According to the All India Bullion Association, silver prices were recorded at ₹247,000 per kilogram by the time the market closed on Friday.
On Friday, both gold and silver closed with gains. In the North Indian bullion market, silver is currently trading at ₹259,900 per kilogram. According to data from the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹151,480 per 10 grams at the market close last week, while the rate for 22-carat gold was recorded at ₹147,840 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold and silver prices closed with gains during the previous session. The price of silver for May delivery rose by ₹3,364 on Friday, closing at ₹244,877 per kilogram. In locations such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bihar, the price of silver remains steady at ₹259,900 per kilogram. On the first day of the week, no significant changes have been observed in silver prices.

Today, Monday, a slight uptick in silver prices has been observed on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). As the market opened this morning, the silver contract expiring on May 5 was seen trading at ₹245,377 per kilogram—up by approximately ₹740. It is worth recalling that on January 29, 2026, the futures price of silver had reached an all-time high of ₹420,048 per kilogram. Since then, silver prices have declined significantly.
