Silver Rate Weekly Drop: The new year has begun, and gold and silver prices are experiencing significant fluctuations. Gold prices have been steadily rising, but occasional dips have also been observed. Gold and silver rates have reached their highest levels. The wedding season is about to begin again soon. This will make buying jewellery quite tricky for people this time. According to the India Bullion Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold and silver prices declined slightly this week. Over five days of trading, gold fell by Rs 1990 per 10 grams. Silver, on the other hand, fell by Rs 890 over the week.
According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), by the time the market closed on Friday, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,34,782 per 10 grams. Silver closed at Rs 2,34,550 per 10 grams. Since the market is closed on Saturday and Sunday, these prices will remain valid for both days.

Regarding silver, on December 29, the price was recorded at Rs 2,35,440 per kilogram, but by January 1, it had fallen to Rs 2,29,250. After this, on January 2, silver made a strong comeback, and the price reached Rs 2,34,550 per kilogram. Over the entire week, silver was Rs 890 per kilogram cheaper.
