Silver Price Crash: Silver prices have been fluctuating continuously. On the last trading day of the week, after opening, the precious metal surged dramatically, crossing Rs 2 lakh per kilogram on the MCX. However, after reaching this high, the silver price suddenly dropped, becoming Rs 9000 cheaper than its peak in a single go. However, its market position remains strong in the domestic market.

Silver Crashes on MCX
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of silver opened lower on Friday at Rs 1,97,705 per kilogram, but during trading, it crossed the Rs 2 lakh mark. It reached a new high of Rs 2,01,615 per kilogram, rising rapidly. However, silver prices have now fallen. Silver dropped by Rs 11,538 to Rs 1,90,077. However, silver futures prices showed some recovery by market close. Even so, it closed at Rs 1,92,615, Rs 9,000 per kilogram below its high.

How much has the price of silver increased this month?
So far, the price of silver has increased by more than Rs 10,000. At the beginning of the month, on December 1st, the MCX silver price was recorded at Rs 1,82,030 per kilogram; compared with Friday’s closing price, it had increased by Rs 10,585. During this period, while silver touched new highs, its price also fell rapidly.

Silver Price in the Domestic Market
The price of silver has increased in the domestic market. According to the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association (IBJA) website (IBJA.com), a week ago, on December 5th, the cost of 1 kg of silver was Rs 1,78,210; it closed at Rs 1,95,180 on Friday at market close. If we calculate accordingly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 16,970 in five trading days.
