Good news for farmers, This govt scheme will provide pension of Rs 36,000!

PM-KMY- If you are already registered in Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan), then now you have the opportunity to take advantage of another great scheme of the government. The government has linked the PM Kisan Mandhan Pension Scheme (PM-KMY) to PM-Kisan, which means that now you will not have to do any extra paperwork to get pension.

Under this scheme, farmers will get a fixed pension of Rs 3,000 every month in their old age, i.e. Rs 36,000 annually. And the most important thing is that farmers will not have to pay a single penny from their pocket for this. The monthly contribution will be deducted directly with the help of PM-Kisan’s annual Rs 6,000.

Pension will be available after the age of 60 years

To avail the benefits of PM Kisan Maandhan Pension Scheme, the farmer’s age should be between 18 and 40 years. Just register in this scheme once, then after completing 60 years, a pension of Rs 3,000 will come directly to your account every month. That means you will get Rs 36,000 in the whole year. This pension will be available for life. After registration, the government will give you a special pension ID number, which will be useful for your identification later.

Registration is very easy

To get registered, the farmer just has to go to his nearest Public Service Center (CSC). There he has to take Aadhar card, bank passbook, land related documents and a passport size photo. The CSC operator fills the online form on the basis of your documents and an auto-debit form is also filled, so that the monthly contribution is deducted directly from the bank account. If you are already a beneficiary of PM Kisan Yojana, then this contribution amount keeps getting deducted automatically from the same assistance.

The biggest feature of this scheme is that farmers do not have to pay anything from their pocket in this pension scheme. Suppose, if a farmer joins this scheme at the age of 40, then he will have to deposit a maximum of ₹ 200 every month. That is, ₹ 2,400 in a year, which is directly deducted from the amount of PM Kisan Yojana. The remaining ₹ 3,600 is deposited in the farmer’s account every year. In this way, the farmer can get double benefit.
