When will the banks remain closed
Banking services will also be closed on Sundays i.e. 4, 11, 18 and 25 May and on Saturdays 10 May (second Saturday) and 24 May (fourth Saturday). That is, banks are going to be closed for a total of 6 days due to weekend.

Banks will remain closed in these cities and states: Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Imphal, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Thiruvananthapuram.
May 9 (Friday) – Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti
Banks will remain closed in Kolkata.
12 May (Monday) – Buddha Purnima
Banks will remain closed in these cities: Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Dehradun, Itanagar, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar.
16 May (Friday) – State Day
Banks will remain closed in Gangtok.
26 May (Monday) – Kazi Nazrul Islam Jayanti
Banks will remain closed in Agartala.
29 May (Thursday) – Maharana Pratap Jayanti
Banks will remain closed in Shimla.
