JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card 2026: The City Intimation Slip for the second session of the Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE Main) has been released. Students appearing for the exam are now awaiting their admit cards. The NTA will issue the hall tickets for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 very soon. Once the admit cards are released, candidates can download their hall tickets from jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Many students mistakenly confuse the City Intimation Slip with the actual Admit Card. Candidates should note that this is merely an ‘Exam City Intimation Slip’; do not mistake it for the actual Admit Card.
The JEE Main Session 2 examination for the B.Tech/B.E. paper is scheduled to begin on April 2, 2026. Very little time now remains before the commencement of the exam. According to media reports, the admit cards for the examination may be released this week. The JEE Main Session 2 examination for the B.Tech/B.E. paper will be held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Meanwhile, the examination for Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) will continue until April 7.

The NTA will soon release the admit cards for the second session of JEE Main, scheduled to be held in April 2026; simultaneously, the link to download these admit cards will be activated on the official examination portal, jeemain.nta.ac.in. Consequently, students who have registered for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) in the April session will be able to download their admit cards from the official website. To download their hall tickets, candidates must log in with their Application Number and Date of Birth, after which they can access and download their admit cards.
No official information has been shared regarding the exact date by which the admit cards for the examination will be released. Therefore, students are advised to keep visiting the official website for updates.
Verify the Admit Card
Candidates are advised to thoroughly check all the details provided on the hall ticket immediately after downloading it (such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, photograph, etc.). The NTA has also instructed candidates to verify the barcode printed on their admit cards. In the event of any discrepancy in these details, students are advised to contact the NTA helpline number at 011-40759000.

Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
Click on the admit card link located in the ‘LATEST NEWS’ section on the website’s homepage.
Enter your application number, password, and the provided security code.
Then, click the ‘Submit’ button.
The admit card will then appear on your screen.
You can download it and take a printout.
