Know when and how to apply

Under the Vishwakarma Yojana, the government provides a loan of up to ₹ 3 lakh to artisans and craftsmen in two different installments. In the first phase, a loan of ₹ 1 lakh is given, and in the second phase a loan of ₹ 2 lakh is available. The first phase loan can be repaid in 18 months, while the second phase loan is given 30 months to repay. These easy repayment terms help the artisans to focus on their work without any financial burden.

Financial assistance of ₹15,000 and stipend during training
After joining this scheme, the beneficiary is first given a few days of training. During this training period, the beneficiary is also given a stipend of ₹500 per day, so that their daily needs can be met during training. Apart from this, there is also a provision of incentives in the scheme, which will motivate the artisans to perform even better.
Financial assistance of ₹ 15,000 to buy the toolkit
The beneficiaries participating in this scheme are also provided financial assistance of ₹ 15,000, so that they can buy the modern toolkit required for their work. This assistance helps the artisans to replace their old and worn out tools and get new, more efficient tools, thereby increasing both their productivity and income.
