PM Kisan Yojana: Lakhs of Farmers Removed from List – Check If Your Name Is Included

PM Kisan Yojana: Under the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers who qualify receive financial support of Rs 2,000 every four months. Up to now, 21 installments of this initiative have been distributed. Countless farmers nationwide are looking forward to the 22nd installment. A significant update has surfaced for farmers in anticipation of this installment.

During a re-verification of beneficiaries under the scheme, millions of names have been taken off the list. Hence, it is crucial to check your status without delay. Discover the reasons behind the removal of farmers’ names and whether yours is still on the list.

What are the reasons for the removals?

The government is diligently working to ensure that only eligible farmers benefit from the scheme. To achieve this, a verification campaign has been initiated. The investigation has uncovered two primary reasons: firstly, alterations in land records. The documents of farmers whose land was registered after February 1, 2019, are undergoing re-evaluation. If ownership rights are not clarified by the deadline, eligibility could be questioned.

The second reason pertains to family-related regulations. According to the scheme, only one member of a family is entitled to receive benefits. In certain instances, both spouses were receiving installments. In these cases, payments have been halted. If the investigation confirms your eligibility, the funds may be released. Otherwise, recovery may be necessary.
