PM Kisan Yojana

PM Kisan Yojana is a visionary initiative of the Central Government, under which financial assistance of ₹ 6, 000 annually is provided to the small and marginal farmers of the country directly in their bank account. This amount is released in three equal installments, i.e. ₹ 2, 000 per installment, every four months. The main objective of this scheme is to help farmers in purchasing their farming expenses like fertilizers, seeds, and other agricultural materials so that they can increase their yield without any financial pressure.

Golden opportunity for farmers of Madhya Pradesh

While farmers across the country are availing the benefit of ₹ 6, 000 annually from PM Kisan Yojana, it is like a ‘double bonanza’ for the farmers of Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh government has launched the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana for its food providers. This scheme works as a supplement to the PM Kisan Yojana.

Under this scheme, along with the installment of ₹ 2, 000 from the central government, the farmers of Madhya Pradesh get an additional installment of ₹ 2, 000 under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana from the state government. That is, now the farmers of Madhya Pradesh are getting a direct benefit of a full ₹ 4, 000 instead of ₹ 2, 000 every four months.

In this way, they receive a total assistance of ₹ 12, 000 instead of ₹ 6, 000 annually, which is double compared to the farmers of other states of the country. This is truly an unprecedented step, which is bringing a revolutionary change in the agriculture sector of Madhya Pradesh.

When is the next installment coming

Crores of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. So far, a total of 19 installments have been successfully sent to the accounts of farmers under this scheme. If sources are to be believed, there is a strong possibility of the 20th installment being released in the third or fourth week of June.

There are also reports that Prime Minister Modi himself may release this installment on June 20. Although there has been no official announcement from the government yet, it is certain that soon this amount will reach the accounts of the farmers.
