PM Kisan Yojana- The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme launched to help farmers has become a big hope for crores of farmers of the country today. Small and marginal farmers working hard in farming often face financial crunch. In such a situation, to provide relief to them, the central government has made arrangements to transfer assistance of Rs 6,000 every year directly to the bank account.
This amount is given in three equal installments, which helps farmers in sowing, fertilizer, seeds and other expenses. This scheme not only strengthens the financial condition of the farmers, but is also an important step towards their self-reliance. So far, the government has released 19 installments under this scheme and lakhs of farmers are waiting for the 20th installment. This scheme gives both respect and support to the farmers.
The first installment was started from Gorakhpur
On 24 February 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent the first installment of this scheme to the accounts of farmers from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Since then, 19 installments have been received by the farmers. Now all the farmers’ eyes are fixed on the 20th installment, which is expected to come in the second quarter of 2025.
When will the 20th installment come ?
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, three installments are given every year—in April-July, August-November and December-March. In such a situation, it is estimated that the 20th installment can be released by the end of June 2025. At the same time, the 21st installment can be given to the farmers by October 2025.
How to check status through Aadhaar or mobile number ?
If you have registered for this scheme and want to know the status of your installment, then follow the easy steps given below:
- First of all go to PM Kisan website.
- Click on Know Your Registration Number in “Farmers Corner” section.
- Now enter Aadhaar number or mobile number and fill the captcha code and click on Get Mobile OTP.
- As soon as you enter the OTP, you will see your registration number.
How to see the list of beneficiaries?
- Go to “Farmers Corner” of PM Kisan portal and click on Beneficiary List.
- Now select your state, district, sub-district, block and gram panchayat.
- The list will show the names of the beneficiaries, their father’s name and the status of the installments.
- Click on the Know Your Status option on the website.
- Enter registration number and captcha.
- As soon as you click on Get Data , the status of your installment will appear on the screen.
