PM Kisan Status Check: Millions of farmers across the country are waiting for the next, the 22nd installment, of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana). The central government is running several schemes to provide financial assistance to farmers, and the PM Kisan Yojana is one of the important ones. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive financial assistance every year.

If you are also a beneficiary of this scheme, it is important to complete all the formalities related to it in time. If e-KYC or land verification is not done, your name may be removed from the beneficiary list, and the installment payment may be withheld.

When can the 22nd installment be released?

According to media reports, the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana may be released by February 2026.  The 21st installment was transferred to farmers’ accounts on November 19, 2025. Under the scheme, an installment of Rs 2000 is given every four months. However, farmers who have not yet completed e-KYC and land verification will not receive the benefit of the next installment. Therefore, farmers are advised to check their status in advance and complete the necessary tasks on time.

How to check PM Kisan Yojana status?

To check the PM Kisan Yojana status, first, you need to visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in. There, click on the Beneficiary List option. After that, fill in the details of your state, district, tehsil, and village. As soon as you enter all the information, the list of beneficiaries will open, in which you can see your name.

How to apply for the PM Kisan Yojana?

Farmers who are not yet associated with this scheme can apply. For this, farmers can apply by visiting their nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or the office of the Agriculture Department. In addition, the facility to apply for the PM Kisan Yojana is also available online.

How to complete e-KYC?

Completing e-KYC is mandatory under the PM Kisan Yojana. For this, farmers need to visit the pmkisan.gov.in website and select the e-KYC option in the Farmers Corner. After entering their Aadhaar number, they will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. Entering the OTP will complete the e-KYC process. Farmers can also complete the e-KYC process using face authentication through the PM Kisan mobile app.
