In this, the one-year internship will have to be done. After this, the youth who will be selected will be given financial assistance of Rs 5,000 every month.

Apart from this, Rs 6,000 will be given at the beginning of the internship. The government will develop the skills of 1 crore youth in five years. According to information received from sources, there is a plan to provide internship opportunities to about 1.25 lakh youth in a financial year.

The government is likely to spend about Rs 800 crore on this scheme. Big companies in the country have also shown interest in this scheme. By October 10, companies will inform the government about getting an internship according to their needs.

The process of applying is starting from October 12. Candidates interested in the PM Internship can easily apply by visiting the website www.pminternship.mca.gov.in. By October 26, the shortlisted candidates will be handed over to the companies. One hundred eleven companies have joined this scheme.
