PF New Rule- Big news for PF Account holders. Even though many people in our country do business, it cannot be denied that a large section of the population is employed. People get salary when they work for the whole month. At the same time, many other types of facilities are also given by companies to their employees. At the same time, the government provides PF facility to employed people.
You can also withdraw PF money according to your need. At the same time, now the Employees Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO has made a change in the rules regarding pension, about which you can know further. So let’s know what new rule has been implemented regarding pension now.
What has changed?
Actually, if you are a PF account holder, then know that the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO has made a big change regarding pension. Under this change, now even a person who works for 1 month will get the benefit of pension i.e. he will get the benefit of EPS. According to the changes made by EPFO, now people who leave their job in less than 6 months will be given the benefit of EPS and such people will no longer have to lose their pension contribution. In its changes, EPFO has made it clear that if a person completes 1 month of service and contributes under EPS, then he will also get the right to pension under EPS.
Earlier, if an employee wanted the benefit of pension, he had to work for at least 6 months. Under the EPS rules of the retirement fund raising institute, a person who left the job after working for 5 months was not given the benefit of pension. However, now under the new rules, this right has been given in a circular issued during April-May 2024.
