Paytm– There is good news for Paytm user’s. Online payment app Paytm has launched a new and privacy-related feature ‘Hide Payment’. With the help of this feature, users can now hide their selected transactions from the payment history and can also show them back when needed. This will benefit those users who do not want to reveal some of their personal or surprise payments to others.
What is ‘Hide Payment’ feature?
Paytm’s new ‘Hide Payment’ feature allows users to hide certain payments from their transaction history. This feature is especially useful for those who want to keep certain purchases or expenses private.
What will be the benefits of this feature?
- The surprise gift can be kept hidden.
- Personal expenses or purchase of essential medicines can be kept confidential.
- You will have more control over your transaction history.
- Security and privacy will be maintained.
How to hide a transaction?
- Open the Paytm app and go to the “Balance & History” section.
- Swipe left on the transaction you want to hide.
- Tap the “Hide” option.
- Confirm by selecting “Yes”.
- Now that transaction will not be visible in your history.
How to retrieve hidden transactions?
- Open Paytm app > Go to “Balance & History”
- Tap on the three dots at the top right > select “View Hidden Payments”
- Verify with your PIN or fingerprint
- Swipe left on hidden transactions
- Tap on “Unhide”
- Now your hidden transaction will start appearing in your history again.
