  • To check whether your PAN card is deactivated or not, you first need to visit the official website of the Income Tax Department, incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
  • Now that you have visited the website, you need to go to the left side.
  • You will see many options here.
  • Here you have to go to the ‘Quick Links’ section.
  • Here you will see several options, but you have to click on the option ‘Verify PAN Status’.
  • Now a small form will open in front of you which you have to fill.
  • First of all you have to enter your PAN number here.
  • After this you have to fill your full name, which is on the PAN card
  • Then you have to enter your date of birth
  • After this you have to enter your 10 digit mobile number.
  • Now an OTP will be sent to the mobile number you entered, which you have to enter.
  • After this you have to click on ‘Validate’
  • Then the status of your PAN card will appear on your screen.
