Drinking and jumping red lights

Driving after drinking alcohol is very dangerous. If a person is caught driving under the influence of alcohol for the first time, he can be fined Rs 10,000 or jailed for 6 months. On the other hand, if the person makes this mistake again, he can be fined Rs 15,000 or jailed for 2 years or both. On the other hand, if someone jumps a red light, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 5,000. Earlier this fine was only Rs 500.

Overspeeding and overloading

Driving carelessly and driving at high speed is very dangerous. Now a fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed for doing this. On the other hand, those who load more goods than required in trucks and commercial vehicles will be fined more than Rs 20,000.

Driving without a valid driving license

You must have a driving license to drive any vehicle. If a person is caught driving without a license, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 5,000. The good thing here is that if you have DL in government apps like DigiLocker and mParivahan, then the digital license will be valid.
