Developed by the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India), the app was launched during the ‘Aadhaar Samvaad’ conference, which saw participation from over 700 tech experts and policymakers. Simplified Digital Aadhaar Verification
The new app allows users to verify their Aadhaar information digitally with ease. It provides a straightforward and convenient method for sharing identity at hotels, shops, airports, or while traveling.
Face Authentication Technology
Additionally, the app features face ID login and verification, removing the need for a physical Aadhaar card or photocopy.
User-Controlled Data
With this app, users can choose what information they wish to share, enhancing their privacy and security. The app is designed to be simple and user-friendly, making it accessible for people of all ages. Currently, it is in the beta phase and will be available to all users in the upcoming weeks.
Moreover, you can link it to UPI payments and other government services, ensuring smooth verification during transactions. This app will bolster the government’s initiatives like Digital India and Atmanirbhar.
