Metro: The metro service that was introduced in Bhopal and Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is struggling to draw in the anticipated number of passengers. Even with a daily expenditure of nearly 8 lakh rupees, there are many days when fewer than 100 passengers use the service. To counteract the increasing losses, the metro administration has initiated a new program. The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited has rolled out the “Celebrations on Wheels” scheme, which permits pre-wedding shoots, film shoots, birthday parties, and other events to take place in metro coaches and at station locations. The cost for this service varies from 5,000 to 7,000 rupees per hour, and reservations must be made at least 15 days ahead of time.

Birthday and pre-wedding shoots can be done in the metro

The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) has introduced a Celebrations on Wheels policy to offer passengers a memorable experience. This policy allows social and cultural events, such as birthdays and pre-wedding shoots, to be hosted within the metro and at station locations. This service aims to elevate the metro beyond just a transportation option, turning it into a venue for celebrating significant occasions. Passengers will need to pay between 5,000 and 7,000 rupees per hour. Reservations must be made 15 days in advance, and all rules and timings must be adhered to.

Celebration on Wheels policy scheme launched

In this regard, the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited has introduced the “Celebration on Wheels” scheme. This initiative will position the metro as a fresh venue for celebrations. Through this new program, metro coaches and select stations can be reserved for special events, providing a unique and novel experience. Under this scheme, a maximum of 50 guests will be permitted to attend a single event.

Celebration, this will be the fare for the shoot

The Metro administration has also established a fee structure for this service. Events will be charged between 5,000 and 7,000 rupees per hour. Applications for any event must be submitted 15 days in advance. Permission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so interested parties must book in advance. Otherwise, they will not be able to get a booking.
