Mahila Rojgar Yojana : Big news for women. Thousands of women have not yet received the Rs 10,000 they received under the Bihar government’s Women’s Employment Scheme, raising questions and concerns. If your account hasn’t received the payment, don’t panic; you can resolve this problem by taking some necessary steps.
Objective and benefits of the scheme
The Mahila Rojgar Yojana aims to empower women in Bihar financially. Under this scheme, women who meet government eligibility receive a direct bank account payment of Rs 10,000 to help them start their own small businesses or meet their financial needs.
Many women did not receive payment
In many areas, the scheme’s funds are being delayed. Women who have been selected but haven’t received the funds are deeply distressed. In some cases, banking errors, missing documents, or pending processing are the reasons.
Check application and bank details
First, female candidates are advised to check the status of their application by visiting their block or panchayat office. Bank passbooks and online government portals (if links are available) can also confirm whether the amount has been transferred. Sometimes, transfers get stuck due to incorrect bank account numbers or name errors.
Get this important work done immediately
– Women who have not received the money till now should go to the concerned government office like Block Office, Panchayat Secretariat and register their problem in the complaint register.
– Go to the bank and get your passbook updated and confirm the name, account number, Aadhaar linking etc. recorded in the account.
– Keep necessary documents like application form, Aadhar, copy of bank passbook, mobile number with you.
Government and officials are working on a solution
The government is continuously monitoring the data and officials have been instructed to resolve pending cases expeditiously. Women have been assured that their money is safe and will reach all eligible beneficiaries soon. For accounts where payments have not been processed due to technical reasons, the transfer process will be repeated in the next phase.
When will you get the money?
If your documents are in order and you are eligible, the funds are likely to be released within a few weeks. If you still have any problems, contact the designated government helpline or your Block Development Officer.
