The 25th installment of Madhya Pradesh’s Ladli Bahna Yojana, eagerly awaited by 1.27 crore women beneficiaries, has been postponed. Initially, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced via social media that the next installment of ₹1,250 would be credited on 13th June. However, due to the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the CM canceled all scheduled programs, delaying the payment.
New Payment Date: 16th June
According to state government officials, the funds will now be transferred on Monday, 16th June. CM Yadav will disburse the amount during an event in Jabalpur’s Belkheda. Alongside Ladli Bahna Yojana, beneficiaries of other schemes—such as Samajik Suraksha Pension Yojana, Sambal Yojana, and Cylinder Refilling Subsidy—will also receive their June installments.
Why Was the Installment Delayed?
Earlier, installments were credited before the 10th of each month, but the schedule was revised to between the 10th and 15th. Last month, the amount was transferred on 15th May. This time, the payment was set for 13th June, but the Ahmedabad plane crash led to its postponement. CM Yadav expressed deep condolences and canceled all programs as a mark of respect.
Additional Benefits Under Other Schemes
Social Security Pension: ₹341 crores for 56.68 lakh beneficiaries.
Cylinder Refilling Subsidy: ₹39.14 crores for 27 lakh women.
Sambal Yojana: ₹150 crores as financial aid for 6,821 labor families.
Reason Behind Date Change
The state government adjusted the payment schedule for better budget management and alignment with central fund releases.
