Ladki Bahin Yojana News: A major change has been introduced in the benefits provided to women under the Maharashtra government’s Ladki Bahin Yojana. The state’s Minister for Women and Child Development, Aditi S. Tatkare, shared information on the social media platform X (Twitter), stating that e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) is now mandatory for all beneficiaries of this scheme. The government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach only the correct and eligible women.

Women who have not yet completed their e-KYC have been warned that they may face difficulties in receiving future installments without it. Therefore, all women receiving financial assistance under the scheme must complete the e-KYC process as soon as possible.

November and December Installments

The month of December is coming to an end, but the November and December installments of the Ladki Bahin Yojana have not yet been credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts. According to media reports, this time the installments for both months may be released together. If this happens, a total of Rs. 3000 will be deposited into each sister’s account. However, there has been no official announcement from the government regarding this yet.
