Dubai is an amazing city! It is one of the most preferred places for Indian tourists which buy pure gold at discounted prices of it’s value. However, there are local rules around buying gold and returning to India. You can only bring gold into India, duty free, within the limits established by the Indian Government.

Why is Dubai so popular?

It is really very well known because the taxes are low locally, and the gold is cheaper than it would be in India. The quality and price of the gold goes hand in hand attracting many Indian buyers. However, if you don’t know the rules on the return to India, you would have trouble at the airport. Therefore, it is good to be aware of duty free for limits and conditions.
