In Which Cases Can Secondary Admit Cards Be Used? Supreme Court Explains Rules

On Wednesday, in the Supreme Court of India hearing, the Election Commission again mentioned the Bengal SIR case. There, the Commission’s lawyer DS Naidu expressed his concerns about the admit card for the biggest exam in school life. And then the country’s top court judge told us exactly in which cases the admit card for the biggest exam in school life can be used.

In which cases can the admit card for the secondary school be used?

On this day, the Commission’s lawyer expressed some concerns about showing the admit card for the secondary school as a document, but Supreme Court Justice Jaymalya Bagchi clearly stated that it was said earlier that the admit card for the secondary school would be accepted. One of the reasons for this is that the date of birth is not mentioned in the secondary school certificate. On the other hand, it is mentioned in the admit card for the secondary school. The judges are also aware of this. Therefore, this document will be required along with the certificate.

Hearing the judge’s statement, the Commission’s lawyer said that the admit card for the secondary school cannot be used as a single document like the Aadhaar card. Hearing that, Justice Jaymalya made it clear, “We have not mentioned the secondary school leaving certificate separately. Because it is in the document. Therefore, the secondary school admit card will supplement it.” This means that if a voter shows a secondary school certificate as a document, then he will have to show the secondary school admit card along with that document to verify his age and father’s name. However, the admit card alone will not be accepted as a self-contained document.

Many students have secondary school admits who could not pass the secondary school examination. In this case, the judge said that such a matter fails to meet the requirements of the rules. After hearing the opinions of all the parties, the court said that the documents submitted to the ERO and AEROs before February 15 should be handed over to the presiding officers by 5 pm tomorrow. In that case, the admit card can be presented along with the secondary school certificate as proof of age and guardian’s name, i.e. guardianship. In short, the country’s highest court has said that admit cards can be used as proof of age and guardianship.
